Daniels Risk Solutions 365
The Daniels Risk Solutions 365 is simple yet revolutionary. It begins with
a curiosity and desire to understand how your business operates. Without this understanding, we can’t adequately identify your exposures to create an effective plan for you.
We use various techniques to identify, measure, and reduce risk while enhancing an organization’s performance through non-insurance solutions.
Risk Management Audit
Our Risk Management Audit, the diagnostic assessment process, empowers organizations to identify, measure and prioritize their exposures to loss. Recognizing that losses vary from minor accidents to major catastrophes, the Risk Management Audit identifies an organization’s exposures to loss, uncovers the types of risks to which it is vulnerable, and determines how well positioned the company is to control a loss should one occur. From here, we can work together on improving your company’s risk profile before negotiating insurance policy terms and conditions.
We perform our Risk Management Audit outside of the 90-day insurance bidding cycle. Depending on the size and complexity of the business, the audit may take two weeks to two months to complete. The audit involves analysis of OSHA logos, employee handbook, contracts, training, insurance program, and many other documents, company policies and procedures. We will also interview a cross-section of people in the company to gain an appreciation for the organization’s strengths and its risk issues.
Tools & Resources
We have developed numerous tools and resources to support the audit process, including culture surveys, compliance audits, and a quantifiable risk assessment. These tools and others enable us toeffectively and efficiently identify exposures and mitigate risk. Each audit is customized using
an array of tools, resources, and strategies:
- Action Plans
- Claims frequency/severity analysis
- Claims review and system development
- Accident analysis and causation
- Experience modification factor analysis
- Loss ratio analysis
- Facility surveys
- Property valuations
- Business continuity impact analysis
- Property rate analysis
- Contract and lease reviews
- Employment labor law audits
- Employee handbook review
- Safety/risk management “policies and procedures” evaluation
- Safety/risk management “training and orientation” evaluation
- Insurance program design review
- Incumbent agent evaluation
Following our audit, we will present a report that includes an evaluation of the existing safety and risk management procedures and training in place, a claims review, an insurance program design analysis, and an action plan for improvement.
